Introduction to Drupal 10 Course (Site Building)
Thursday, 24th October 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm at Hotel DeLoix Aqua Center, Benidorm
The course is divided into two parts:
- A face-to-face session as part of Drupalcamp Spain 2024, where we will introduce Drupal;
- And an optional online section, which you can complete over the next four months on the Forcontu training platform. This will lead to certification as an Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building. The course is priced at €500, but it will be completely free if you attend the in-person session and meet the conditions detailed below.
During the 5-hour in-person session, we will work with a pre-installed Drupal setup so that you can get hands-on experience with the core functionalities. The online part requires approximately 180 hours over the next four months, including a final project.
No prior programming knowledge is necessary.
In-person session date: 24th October 2024 (9:00 am to 2:00 pm), 5 hours.
Online session date: Until 25th February 2025, 180 hours.

Special Conditions for Accessing the Free Online Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building Course
To access the free Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building course, you must meet the following criteria:
- Participate in the face-to-face session on 24th October 2024.
- You must not have a prior Forcontu certification (except for the online introduction to Drupal course).
- You must not have previous experience with Drupal, or if you are currently working with it, have less than six months of experience.
Even though the course is free, if you do not finish it within the initial four-month period, you can extend this on a month-by-month basis according to the conditions and prices set by Forcontu for their general courses.
Upon completing the Site Building course, you will be considered a Forcontu alumni and can benefit from special discounts on other courses, such as Back-End and/or Front-End training.
Technical Requirements
You will need to bring your laptop. For the introduction, only an SSH client (such as MobaXterm or PuTTY) or an IDE with SSH connection capabilities (like Visual Studio Code) is required.

The face-to-face session will take place at Hotel DeLoix Aqua Center in Benidorm (Avda. Dr. Severo Ochoa, 34, Benidorm).
