For the past few years, I have been responsible for hiring Drupal developers at an international company, and I receive dozens of applications for different positions.
I am convinced that I have rejected outstanding candidates simply because the documents submitted, like the CV or cover letter, were not up to the candidate's level.
In this talk, I want to share the perspective of the person who has to make the hiring decision. What they typically look for in junior or senior profiles and some recurring (sanitized) examples that make it harder for me to move forward with the hiring process.
